Friday Afternoon
Friday afternoon,and Amy is writing a grant to support our photography exhibition. She needs Lyndi's help filling out the section on our demographics. Lyndi (seated) is a our marketing and membership coordinator. Becky is crunching numbers for the budget. Just another day in the office.
New Saw
Our preparator, Alan Rideout, is putting together the new radial arm saw. It was given to himfor use inteh art museum by a professor in the Art Department, Lynn Sweet, who makes fine art furniture. He bought this saw when his was broken, then was able to fix the "old favorite." We are grateful for the opportunity to have a new saw!

Director Retires
I am retiring as of August 1, from my career in art museums, which I have been most grateful to have. But our Art Museum with continue to thrive and prosper. And we hope that it can grow.
Art in Bloom Success
Over 1790 people attended the Art in Bloom weekend. The gala, chaired by Ellen Karpf, and honoring John Gardner of Wells Fargo was a gorgeous event. Pictures tell the story, here!

Family Day
Sunday's Family Day for Art and the Animal was a big hit! We had over 500 people. there were art activities, music, storytellers, but most of all - animals! Animals in art, and live animals were enjoyed by all, including the service dogs, a camel, llamas, goats, ponies and more!

Snowman in Sculpture Garden
A new creative addition to our sculpture garden last week,near the Coal Pot sculpture by El Anatsui. By Sunday's family day, it was gone!
